Are you an experienced EYFS Practitioner /teacher ready to step up into an exciting leadership role at Holtspur School?

Have you the vision, commitment and enthusiasm to help us develop and deliver the best early years provision for every child?

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our thriving Pre-School and inspire our dedicated Early Years team. As the Pre-School Leader, you will be responsible for shaping the educational experience of our 2-4 year old children, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and learning. We are looking for applicants who can show high levels of creativity, in terms of their educational skill set, and also inspire our children and to make a positive difference to their learning and lives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate the pre-school team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment
• Oversee the effective implementation of the EYFS curriculum, adapting it to meet the developmental needs of all children
• Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to support their learning and development
• Lead on professional development initiatives for the Early Years team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community, encouraging their involvement in school life
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards to create a secure and nurturing environment

About you

In return, we are looking for someone who is:
• A caring teacher who has the needs of our pupils and their families at the heart of everything they do.
• A strategic leader who is up to date with current developments in teaching and learning and in the Early Years Foundation Stage from ages 2-4
and to can model and share this with staff.
• A highly effective classroom practitioner who is passionate about education who can coach and mentor other staff to enhance their practice.
• An excellent role model for staff and pupils and a source of inspiration
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to make learning irresistible, inclusive and effective
• Passionate about early years, indoor and outdoor provision and can facilitate meaningful interactions with children from2-4 to really move their
development forward.
