Job Description A firm of Accountants based in York, is recruiting for a Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful individual will be responsible for working on all tax activities including; tax planning, tax compliance and preparation of business and personal tax returns. Excellent benefits include; a salary of up to £47,000, flexible working hours, private healthcare and a generous holiday allowance of 32 days holiday (plus bank holidays). This role can be considered on a full or part-time basis. Reporting into the partners, the Tax Manager will be responsible for: Management of the tax team, responsible for developing the department Managing and growing a portfolio of clients Attracting new clients and contributing to the success of the firm Work alongside Client Managers and Directors to spot opportunities Provide advice and tax updates, as well as training Getting to know each client and their business so that you can add value with your tax expertise To be successful in this Tax Manager role, you must: Be ICAEW/CTA/ATT qualified Confident advising clients on tax matters Have a proven record as a team leader and enjoy managing and developing a team Have experience working in Tax in an Accountancy Practice setting If you are interested in applying to this Tax Manager role, please apply now.
