Product Engineer - 12 Month Undergraduate Placement

Overview of the Role
As a student pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, you will apply your theoretical knowledge in a collaborative, hands‑on environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers across hydraulics, mechanical, materials, electrical, and control & instrumentation disciplines, actively participating in real‑world projects and gaining valuable industry experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Collaborate with the hydraulics, mechanical, materials, electrical, and control & instrumentation engineers within the Product Engineering group.
* Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions.
* Execute special projects to improve departmental output, including conducting research, analysing data, and forming appropriate conclusions.
* Create and modify documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and presentations.
* Collaborate with other departments to meet company goals.
* Actively engage in project meetings, learning opportunities, and training sessions provided by the company.
Experience and Knowledge Required
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
* Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes effectively.
* Attention to detail.
* Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering.
* Proficiency with 2D & 3D design packages.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
