Hazel Tree Education are working with an 'Outstanding' SEN High School and College in Wigan in their search for a Supply Teacher covering KS3.
The school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with a range of complex needs. Preparing young people for the future to make a positive contribution to the community. The opportunities and challenges offered allows learners to:

We are looking for a qualified teacher ideally Primary trained with a background in supporting SEN students to deliver lower level English Curriculum to Key Stage 3 learners. You will be supporting the school part-time on a temporary basis. You will have the ability to teach throughout a range of subjects, working closely with other staff members and within small groups.
School working hours: Monday- Friday, 8:25am - 3:05pm
Applicants must have:
* PGCE with QTS
* The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
* A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Two references including most recent employer
* Right to work in the UK
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
* Experience of supporting learners with SEN
* An interest in supporting children with additional needs
