At Castelan, we're a leading national furniture care business supporting major retailers, insurers and commercial partners. Our logistics function plays a critical role in delivering a seamless repair journey - and this role is central to making that happen.
The Role
As Logistics Operations Manager,(This is not fleet, but component logistics for furniture parts) you'll lead and develop our Logistics Team, ensuring operational performance consistently meets - and exceeds - expectations. You'll combine peoplefocused leadership with datadriven decisionmaking to ensure efficiency, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction are always front of mind.
You'll be accountable for KPIs across workflow, stock control, supplier and thirdparty relationships, and compliance (including FCA requirements), positioning logistics as a true competitive advantage for Castelan.
What You'll Do
* Lead, motivate and develop a highperforming logistics team
* Manage workload, resources, performance and attendance effectively
* Drive continuous improvement using performance data and MI
* Ensure full compliance with procedures, policies and regulatory requirements
* Oversee stock control, parts ordering, WIP and supplier relationships
* Successfully integrate new work streams and business changes
* Partner with other teams to deliver a seamless customer journey
* Champion team wellbeing, engagement and professional standards
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience leading highperforming teams in logistics, supply chain or a fastpaced regulated environment
* Strong performance management and coaching capability
* Handson experience managing stock, suppliers and inventory
* Excellent organisational, analytical and decisionmaking skills
* Ability to interpret data and implement effective operational improvements
* Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
* Strong systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office and 365
* A proactive, accountable leader who leads by example and puts customers first
