Our client is an independent consultancy, providing sustainable environmental building services engineering throughout the UK and beyond. Operating across 6 offices, they are privileged to work with many and varied prestigious clients and collaborators on projects in all sectors including and many more. Due to continued growth, thispany is expanding and is seeking to appoint a Senior/Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
To lead and manage the electrical engineers on a day-to-day basis, providing a quality service to clients and assist in the development and growth of the business.
1. Undertake electrical design and consultancy work, including systems design, production, specifications, and schedules.
2. Provide reports and advice to clients.
3. Liaise with internal and external design team members and represent the business at meetings.
4. Act as a focal point for clients and support consultants to fulfil client interests.
5. Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
6. Adopt a responsible attitude to project management and train subordinate staff.
7. Regularly review and prioritise personal and team workloads.
8. Ensure accuracy and adequacy of information and documentation.
9. Maintain all Quality System procedures.
10. Perform personal management duties, including recording person-hourmitments and reporting project fee input.
11. Manage projects, including organising trainee staff and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
12. Assist in fulfilling the primary objectives of the Directors.
13. Ensure operationsply with relevant ISO standards and national legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
14. Preferably BEng (Hons) Degree in Building Services/Electrical Engineering
15. 5+ years’ experience within a building services consultancy
16. Chartered or willingness to work towards
17. Ambitious self-motivated individual with good team ethic, looking to excel and aspire
18. Ability to think in a methodical way to design, plan and organise projects
19. Goodmunication skills within a team environment
