Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £16 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join a well-established logistics operation based in Avonmouth. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position within a fast-paced transport environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Preparing driver paperwork and coordinating daily transport activity
* Acting as the main point of contact for drivers while on the road
* Communicating effectively with internal teams and operational sites
* Monitoring transport performance and compliance
* Handling calls and emails in a professional manner
* Managing vehicle breakdowns and responding to operational issues
* Supporting safe and efficient delivery operations
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
* Basic working knowledge of transport legislation, including:
o Working Time xsngvjr Directive
o EU Driver’s Hours
o Tachograph regulations
* Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
