Role summary / Purpose :
As the Global Talent Lead at NEC Corporation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company’s talent management initiatives on a global scale. You will be accountable for rolling out strategic talent management measures, including global succession plan, talent pool management, and driving a culture of continuous commitment to our talent across the organization.
Expected outcomes in next few years:
Introducing and stabilizing global talent management framework, including succession plan, talent pipeline and performance management
Essential responsibilities:
Global talent strategy
• In conjunction with the Global Head of OD & Talent, lead the design of global talent management framework and performance management to contribute towards corporate Mid Term Plan and objectives
• Responsible for implementing and enhancing a global talent management framework, and performance management
Global talent management efficiency
• Lead to design, develop and deliver the variety of talent development measures
• Responsible for managing global succession plan for identified key roles
• Responsible for managing global talent pool, with IN/OUT strategy
• Provide the objective talent assessment and development plan
• Work closely with leadership development partner for leadership development programme to maintain the talent pipeline for effective talent management
Fostering the talent development culture with performance management
• Lead to design, develop and deliver performance management measures, collaborating with other HR process owners such as total rewards, talent mobility etc
• Drive a talent development culture utilizing the variety of effective performance management measures
Experiences :
• Solid overall talent management working experience at either regional or global scope
• Proven experience in managing international succession plan and talent pipeline management
• Has excellent knowledge of the latest talent assessment methodologies and technologies, cutting edges talent management models
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Coaching, psychometric tools certification are desirable
• Has strong commercial/business acumen
• Has high data literacy and data-driven approach
• Ability to work with agility and ownership
• Excellent problem-solving with transformative mind-set
• Excellent stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization
