About Exhall Cedars
Exhall Cedars is a culturally diverse school with a heart. We are proud to offer a unique early years setting with a purpose‑built preschool for two‑year‑olds and a separate nursery provision for three‑year‑olds. Resilience, respect, honesty and kindness underpin everything we do, in a nurturing school where every child is valued. Judged Good by OFSTED (April 2024), we have continued to strengthen and refine our practice, always striving to be the very best for our children. Inclusion lies at the core of everything we do. We are deeply committed to an Attachment‑Aware and Trauma‑Informed approach and run a successful school‑based SRP supporting our most vulnerable children with CLL needs. Our environment reflects this commitment, with calm corners in every classroom, as well as a Soft Play Room and Light Sensory Room. We are immensely proud holders of the OPAL Platinum Award, celebrating our exceptional outdoor provision, which includes a woodland area, zip line and jungle gym, performance stage, digging areas and mud kitchen, tyre mountain and beach area. Our children are happy, curious, well‑behaved and eager to learn. Our staff are dedicated, caring and genuinely passionate about making a difference to children and families within our community. We proudly support the financial and social wellbeing of local families by creating a rich cultural environment where children feel valued and inspired. Working alongside parents, we strengthen community ties and give children the experiences they need to grow, learn, and belong. And most importantly: There are ‘NO OUTSIDERS’ here.
