Nixor have partnered with one of the UK Leading Certification businesses as they look for a Pricing, Revenue and Commercial Manager to help Systemise and Digitise their entire commercial offering. This newly evolved is designed to bring true commercial structure, insight, and innovation into the business. The hiring manager for this role said “this role does not sit in BAU, it will drive the Transformation of the business moving forward”.


As a brand new role to the business, you will initially look at all their products and services to analyse the current pricing models, margins across their suite of products and all of the revenue generating activities to see where supply and demand can drive profit and revenue growth. They’re not just looking for an analyst though, they want somebody that can make recommendations and help drive-through change.


Whilst this is going on there are also two of the large transformation projects they are looking for this individual undertake. These include:


Leading on the digitisation of their internal commercial offerings. Currently done in spreadsheets our client have the technology in place to digitise their offering and make far more data driven decisions, but need someone who can help map out the business processes, combine the broader commercial strategy and deliver transformational improvements that make a visible impact across the organisation.


Taking ownership of the current pricing and quotation process. Being in a service led environment means they are selling skilled services to the market. However, this can vary from individual to individual in the current quotation process. They are therefore ideally looking for someone who can look at the current ways of working, spot pattern and then look at where they can standardise the service offering & using competitor analysis to help drive revenue and ultimately profitability.


This is a really interesting role that blends Pricing, Revenue and Commercial together in what is far from a routine, transactional role.


The hiring manager for this position is full of energy and wants this individual to focus on special projects, process transformation, and commercial optimisation
