Main duties of the job
* Develop and manage a patient-centred nursing service
* Assume twenty-four-hour responsibility for the provision of a nursing service in the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU)
* Promote effective communication and teamwork at all levels
* Demonstrate clinical leadership skills and evidence of specialist knowledge
* Manage staff within the EAU, including human resource management, clinical governance, and risk management
* Utilise resources effectively, working within the allocated budget
* Contribute significantly toward the strategic and operational development of the EAU
