Key responsibilities
* Welcome members and guests, check them in, and handle enquiries in person/phone/email.
* Manage bookings (classes, PT sessions, facilities) and keep schedules accurate.
* Process payments, membership queries, and retail sales where applicable.
* Maintain a clean, safe, presentable reception and leisure environment.
* Support the team with admin: basic reporting, stock checks, class lists, member communications.
* Handle issues calmly and escalate appropriately (complaints, incidents, maintenance).
* Follow all health & safety and company procedures.
Requirements
* Confident communicator with a warm, polished service style.
* Organised, accurate, and comfortable with systems.
* A team player who stays calm under pressure and can handle busy periods.
* Previous reception/customer service experience preferred (hospitality/leisure a plus).
* Flexible working over weekends, bank holidays.
