To grow our Infrastructure MEP capability, we are looking for a Principal Control Systems Engineer to join us in London. Working for UK and International clients, you’ll be responsible for SCADA concept and performance design on some of the most prestigious programmes in infrastructure, particularly in Rail and Tunnel crossing projects. This role also includes a unique opportunity to contribute to other major infrastructure and sustainable energy solutions.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:
1. Contributing towards the design of projects for a wide range of clients
2. Planning design work and deliverables together with MEP team
3. Development and technical assurance of design including use of relevant software
4. Design coordination of multi-disciplinary aspects of schemes
5. Motivating your team to higher levels of performance, ensuring they comply with business processes and procedures in a timely manner
6. Mentoring junior team members in design
7. Work to build relationships with clients and other stakeholders

On top of that, you’ll have:
8. MEng or BEng in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
9. Ideally Chartered Engineer status or at least be working towards this
10. Experience in SCADA concept and performance design for rail and other major infrastructure. Candidates with experience in other industries may also be considered.
11. Experience in designing Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control Audio Visual System and IDS), Fire Alarm & Detection System, ICT Systems (Telecommunication System, Data Networking and Radio System) and other areas of electrical engineering design would be an added advantage.
12. Awareness of BSEN safety integrity levels
13. The ability to lead and coordinate design packages for multi-disciplinary projects working with multi-disciplinary teams, preferably in a design and build environment
