We are seeking a jolly, enthusiastic person to join our festive team as Santa Claus at Honister Slate Mine's Santa's Grotto in the beautiful Lake District. This role is perfect for someone who loves spreading holiday cheer, enjoys interacting with children and families, and is dedicated to creating magical Christmas memories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with Visitors: Welcome children and their families to the grotto with a warm, friendly demeanor, and make each visit special.
* Gift-Giving: Distribute presents to children.
* Storytelling: Share classic Christmas stories and captivate young audiences.
* Photo Opportunities: Pose for photos with children and families, ensuring everyone leaves with a treasured memory.
* Maintain Authenticity: Stay in character as Santa Claus at all times, embodying the spirit of Christmas through your actions and interactions.
* Grotto Upkeep: Assist in maintaining the grotto's festive appearance, ensuring it remains tidy and inviting.
* Safety and Comfort: Ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, addressing any concerns
The Role will be from 9.30 am until 4pm starting from 15th Nov until 23rd Dec.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
