Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen as needed. Duties
* Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system.
* Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests' tables.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments.
* Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of food safety regulations is desirable.
* A team player who can assist colleagues in various tasks as needed.
* Fluent in English
