A market leading organisation requires a Software Development Manager / Software Engineering Manager to join its growing and successful team! Suitable candidates will have the folloiwng experience:
* Strong commercial experience in software development coupled with strong experience in a leadership/managment role.
* Experience in leading technical decisions.
* Excellent communication skills and the abilities to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Duties will include the folloiwng:
1. Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
2. Managing and mentoring software developers.
3. Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
4. Writing and reviewing code.
5. Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
7. Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting at product user groups)<...
