The EMEA CS Proposals & Contract Manager will be involved in all aspects of quoting service and support contracts for existing and new Dematic customers.
This role is directly related to the engineering services that Dematic provides to its customers including resident maintenance support, remote access/diagnostics, field engineering support, spare parts, and various other components involved in our services.
As Contracts Manager, you will be leading the relationships with the customers to capture their requirements/needs, work with multidisciplined stakeholders to capture the true cost estimates, and establish the maintenance service contracts with them.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the principal point of contact for allocated opportunities or customers.
2. To maintain good relationships with existing customers, as well as potential customers, through the provision of a high-quality service.
3. To maintain and improve Dematic’s image as a world-class leader, by adopting an honest, professional, and attentive approach.
4. To liaise with BS Sales Managers, CS Sales Managers, Regional Maintenance Managers, FO Account Managers.
5. To liaise with, and interpret, customers’ requirements and initial requirements into Specification, Scope, Resource Estimation, CS solution, CS programme, Spare Parts Estimates, Contract Costing sheet, Offer document, and Contract Schedules.
6. Liaise with internal engineering departments and external sub-contractors to develop the proposal.
7. To ensure that contract proposals meet the requirements of H&S.
8. To generate project files containing Project definitions, Resource Calculations, Costing sheets, Implementation Programme, Offer documents, and General correspondence.
9. Ensure pre-analysis is correct, relevant for the business, & properly documented.
10. Manage the contract renewals process ensuring accurate pricing is generated and upcoming renewals are scheduled and communicated in good time.
11. Comply with Company Policy as defined in the Staff Handbook. Safety Manual and Quality Assurance Manual.
Qualifications & Experience:
12. A formal engineering qualification would be desirable and useful to the role. i.e., ONC/HNC qualified in an engineering discipline, however, this is not essential.
13. Further education in Business Administration would also be useful in the role but by no means essential.
14. Deep understanding of service contracts and the intricacies of contract management.
15. Capability to conduct cost analysis and calculations of technical/ maintenance service-based products.
16. A knowledge of maintenance and maintenance service operations would be a distinct advantage in the role.
17. Proficient user of the core MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
18. Experience is additional systems relevant to the role would also be desirable (Salesforce, AutoCAD, SharePoint, SketchUp, MS Projects, or similar software packages)
19. An appreciation for return on investment (ROI) and a basic understanding of financial concepts (margins, costs, selling price, costs of employment, NI, Social costs).
20. Knowledge of material handling equipment or warehouse automation would be useful, however, those who have experience in similar engineering/technical industries would also add value to the role.
21. Experience in equipment preventative and reactive maintenance or an appreciation for the operational inputs.
