Overview
We invite applications for an Assistant Director to join the Ofsted 'Outstanding' Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC) team. The role will oversee the Primary undergraduate ITT route delivered in partnership with the University of Suffolk, and contribute to the delivery and development of the existing postgraduate ITT programme.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development of primary trainee teachers on the undergraduate course
* Provide a vital link between CTTC, the University of Suffolk and partner schools, ensuring consistency, alignment with CTTC values, and high‑quality support
* Travel to the University of Suffolk and placement schools as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in the primary sector
* Hard‑working, passionate and reliable professional
* Commitment to safeguarding and promotion of children’s welfare; must be willing to undertake an enhanced criminal record check with the Disclosure and Barring Service
* Available for full‑time/part‑time or secondment opportunities as required
