Overview
We are seeking an IT Finance Analyst for a 12-month FTC. Reporting to the IT Commercial Manager, the primary responsibility of the IT Commercial Analyst is to manage the BAU and project cost base processes for Group IT.
The role is hybrid, requiring travel to Chippenham approximately once a week.
How will you contribute?
1. Manage the IT budget and actuals, advising relevant budget stakeholders within IT.
2. Document and continually improve controls and processes related to IT financial governance.
3. Define and implement robust controls to maintain governance over the IT cost base.
4. Seek continuous improvement of existing controls and processes.
5. Ensure adherence to governance processes within the IT team, providing coaching and training as needed.
6. Oversee daily governance and processing of the IT BAU cost base, monitoring performance against budget/forecast.
7. Manage project cost trackers with Project Managers for all IT-funded projects.
8. Serve as the SME within Group IT for finance matters and the Oracle Purchase to Pay process.
9. Manage IT timesheet recoveries with IT team leads.
10. Act as the point of contact within Group IT for Finance to ensure accurate month-end financial processing.
11. Provide insightful analysis and commentary to support senior decision-making.
