Job Title: Veterinary Operations & Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm)
Holiday: 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (33 days total)

About Us
We are a specialist Veterinary Practice focused on Pig Medicine, operating nationally across the UK. Our clients include both small-scale farmers and major agricultural businesses, including FTSE 250-listed companies. In addition to veterinary services, we supply pharmaceuticals on a wholesale basis to other practices.
Our business is modern, fast-paced, and rapidly growing. We pride ourselves on constantly improving the services we provide, and we're now looking for a dedicated team member to help us continue that journey.
We currently have five vets based across the country and one clinical secretary who works remotely. A part-time van driver who delivers orders once a week.
The office staff consist of; one full-time practice manager and one part-time employee. You'll be working closely alongside both of them, although a small team we believe in creating a positive and welcoming workplace where every team member feels valued.
The Role
This position supports our pharmaceutical logistics operation, which is essential to the health and welfare of the animals we care for. Although you won't be working directly with animals, you will play a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of medicines to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and process daily and weekly medicine orders
* Prepare necessary documentation for Purchase/Sales Orders, including invoicing
* Coordinate product distribution to meet client deadlines
* Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers via phone, email
* Order stock from suppliers on a daily basis
* Liaise with the warehouse on incoming stock
* Record all received and dispatched items using our advanced inventory software
Full training will be provided, and you will work closely with our veterinary teams to support them in delivering excellent service.
