Role
Associate Fire Engineer. You’ll typically work on a variety of projects at once—from a university in Scotland to a high-rise residential tower in London—with international exposure. The aim is to enable innovative architectural design without compromising fire safety.
Responsibilities
* Review design information and liaise with other WSP disciplines (Facades, Acoustics, Structures).
* Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
* Inform the design team about changes to increase building safety.
* Be guided through software packages, fire standards, team briefings and client updates from the start.
* Support professional registration via IFE and other professional bodies.
Qualifications
* BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
* Role based from any of our UK major offices.
