Revenue & Benefits Assistant
Pay: £13.10 per hour; Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday; Location: One Angel Square, Northampton (office based); Length: 8 weeks (starting July 2026); Recruitment agency: Opus People Solutions on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the team with general day‑to‑day admin tasks
- Managing and organising emails and shared inboxes
- Data entry and updating records accurately
- Assisting with document scanning, filing, and indexing
- Using systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Making occasional customer call backs or responding to basic queries
- Supporting wider team tasks as required
What we’re looking for:
- Basic experience or confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Organised with a proactive, can‑do attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
