The vacancy
We are seeking a friendly, organised and customer‑focused Admissions and Enquiries Assistant to support prospective learners from their first enquiry through to enrolment across our Further and Higher Education provision.
This is a key front‑line role within the Admissions and Enquiries team, providing accurate information, advice and administrative support to ensure a positive and engaging experience for applicants. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help maintain accurate learner records, meet application timescales and contribute to the continuous improvement of admissions processes.
Essential Criteria
1. Level 2 qualification or above (or equivalent relevant experience), plus GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
2. Experience in an administrative, data‑focused or customer‑facing role
3. Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office applications
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to customer service
Key Responsibilities
6. Respond promptly and professionally to course and admissions enquiries from prospective students
7. Provide clear and accurate information on courses, entry requirements and admissions processes
8. Process FE and HE applications within agreed timescales
9. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date learner records and data systems
10. Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve and streamline admissions processes
11. Support the day‑to‑day administration of the Admissions and Enquiries team
12. Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive student experience

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
