About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Physics Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Sunderland starting in September 2025. The school prides itself on providing a positive and aspirational learning environment where students are supported to thrive both academically and personally.
As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students. You will contribute to curriculum planning, deliver high-quality teaching, and play a key role in supporting students’ academic progress and wider development. You will be joining a collaborative and ambitious science department with a shared commitment to excellence.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have a thorough understanding of the physics curriculum and a genuine enthusiasm for science education
* Be committed to driving student progress and maintaining high standards
* Possess strong classroom management and communication skills
* Have experience in a grammar or academically selective school (desirable, but not essential)
