Practice Consultant - Social Worker 8885 | Fixed term contract for 18 months | £31,978 to £35,192 per annum (Scale K) | 27 hours per week | Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich
An exciting opportunity within the Adult Mental Health Social Care service to develop a Countywide mental health duty team. This position is for 27 hours per week, working alongside the existing Practice Consultant to continue reshaping how Mental Health duty operates across the County and to enable standardised practice across the 5 locality teams. The contract is 18 months fixed term, with review.
Responsibilities
* Be involved in the daily operational requirements of the role, supporting duty practitioners across the 5 locality teams.
* Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, be well organised and effectively prioritise and risk assess cases referred into the locality teams.
* Work with knowledge and commitment to the role; knowledge and experience of working with people with mental health needs is desirable but not essential as you will be supported to develop through regular supervision, training and support.
* Support progression into management; secondments would be considered.

* Experience, knowledge and commitment to the role are required; knowledge of working with people with mental health needs is desirable but not essential.

* Will be supported to develop into the role with regular supervision, training and support.
