As a Transport Planner you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food. Our operation in Belfast are looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off pattern, working 12 hours per day between the hours of 06.00-18.00. What’s in it for you? Address customer concerns immediately and escalate where appropriate in a timely manner. Manage transport resources in line with operational and budgetary requirements including shift rota management to maintain service levels. Plan and manage operational resources to optimise the utilisation of labour and equipment to effectively manage forecasted volumes. Ensure effective communication links between colleagues and other shifts to ensure operational consistency and drive high standards and flag opportunities for process improvement. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a multi customer centric operation and planning operational resources. In depth knowledge of drivers’ rules, regulations and WTD and have a national/international CPC.
