1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Bolton - Full Time
Are you a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are working with a fantastic primary school in Bolton with a truly supportive and welcoming staff team, who are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join them after half term (from 1st June or sooner if available).
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity where you can make a real difference every single day.
The Role:
Morning: Providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Lower KS2
Afternoon: Supporting a small group of pupils with SEND in KS1
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCOThis role would suit someone who is calm, patient, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly those who may need help with behaviour and emotional regulation.
What we're looking for:
Experience working with SEND pupils (essential)
Confidence supporting challenging behaviour in a positive and proactive way
A resilient, consistent and nurturing approach
Someone who can build strong relationships and act as a positive role model
A team player who will fit into a lovely, supportive school environmentThe school would particularly welcome applicants who can provide a strong, positive role model for the pupil.
What's on offer:
£92.56 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time, 5 days per week
