It launched in December 2020 and continues to deliver safe, timely and affirmative health care to our service users as part of our mission to support trans and non-binary people to thrive.We’re looking for an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.The Benefits- Salary of NHS Band 7 (Open to Band 6)- 26 days’ annual leave, increasing by one day up to 31 days after five years’ service, plus bank holidays- Sector-leading 10% employer’s contributory pension- Staff counselling scheme- Cycle to Work / Technology Scheme- Season Ticket Loan- Free annual flu jab- Free VDU eye care test- Staff social budget- Dedicated training budget for each member of staff and support with Personal Development Plans- Relaxed dress codeThis is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified speech and language therapist with experience in voice and communication therapy and leadership skills to join our inclusive and impactful organisation.You’ll have the chance to make a real difference to trans and non-binary individuals by helping them find their authentic voice in a compassionate and affirming environment that celebrates diversity.As you support people to express themselves with confidence, you’ll also take on a key leadership role within a pioneering NHS gender service, with opportunities to shape service development and grow professionally in a values-led setting.The RoleAs an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist, you will lead and deliver a vital voice and communication therapy service for trans and non-binary people accessing Indigo.Working as part of a compassionate and inclusive multidisciplinary team, you will manage a complex caseload and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions that support gender-affirming care.You will also take on a leadership role, acting as the team lead for the Voice and Communication Therapy Team, overseeing clinical allocation, and providing the point of clinical escalation.
