A leading multi:sector design consultancy is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join its Cardiff studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and technically skilled professional to take ownership of the delivery of residential projects across all RIBA stages. The practice works across the residential, commercial, education, and leisure sectors, offering a collaborative and design:led environment where technical expertise is highly valued.

The successful Architectural Technician will:
* Lead the production of detailed technical drawings and construction packages
* Provide technical leadership across all RIBA stages, with a focus on stages 3:5
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant housing standards
* Coordinate with internal and external teams to maintain design and delivery quality
* Mentor and support junior team members
* Manage project timelines and ensure smooth project progression
* Contribute to sustainable and compliant design solutions
The successful Architectural Technician will have:
* A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
* Significant post:qualification experience delivering residential projects
* Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and materials
* Excellent understanding of planning policy, building regulations, and sustainability principles
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem:solving abilities
