This is an outstanding opportunity for a sales specialist or subject matter expert (SME) in Hybrid Cloud to join our dynamic team, bringing specialist insight and adding tangible value by proactively selling cloud services into existing accounts.
You will leverage strong working relationships with sales colleagues across multiple teams, ensuring our solutions are not only expertly designed and delivered, but also closely aligned with the evolving needs of our clients.
Role
Cloud is the most important part of the sales portfolio within TIEVA and offers market leading solutions to our customers to cover all aspects of public and private clouds and we are seeking a sales specialist to drive and deliver client engagements in these areas.
Responsibilities
* Working as an overlay with internal sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue cloud sales opportunities in the UK market as an overlay to account managers into existing accounts.
* Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of cutting-edge Cloud solutions for clients across a diverse range of sectors.
* Act as a trusted advisor, translating customer requirements into tailored, market‑leading solutions focused on enhancing productivity and cost optimisation.
* Work closely with internal sales, technical, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery from initial consultation through to implementation and ongoing managed services.
* Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with industry developments, new technologies, and emerging trends in cloud usage.
* Drive customer engagement through demonstrations, presentations, and hands‑on solution workshops, helping clients unlock greater value from their investment.
* Champion innovation, identifying opportunities to integrate new products, platforms, and approaches that set TIEVA apart in the marketplace.
* Support pre‑sales activities, including solution scoping, proposal development, and technical documentation, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction at every stage.
Candidate
* A strong background in cloud sales, preferably with experience in both Azure and datacentre solutions.
* Confident with common cloud themes such as Well‑Architected Framework and Landing Zones, Migration & Modernisation, Re‑Hosting vs. PaaS, cost control, security/compliance requirements, and DR patterns.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT Sales role.
* Proven track record in selling and hitting targets.
* Consultative sales skills.
* Proven track record of working with Account Management sales teams.
* Negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to develop client relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Ability to work independently.
* Results orientated.
* Certifications (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals e.g. AZ‑900).
* Knowledge of other cloud solutions such as:
* VMware/HCI knowledge.
* Experience moving customers from EA to CSP.
