This position provides end user support for the maintenance of existing applications as well as the creation of new applications based on user needs. Additionally, this position is responsible for analyzing user needs and software requirements, review of available options, support for third party software solutions, and the creation and maintenance of server-based applications.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience. Experience, including coursework, in structured application development is required.

* Understanding of data bases and server-based applications
* Understanding of PC and web-based application development environments; experience with Oracle products preferred

* Strong organizational skills, including time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities with some guidance
* Strong attention to detail
Primary duties include:
* Provide user support for in-house applications and assume role of user liaison to vendor for third-party products
* Analyze, create, test, and maintain in-house applications, including support of operations, modifications, upgrades, interfaces, and migrations
* Implement and maintain third party applications, including support of operations, modifications, upgrades, interfaces, and migrations
* Manage assigned systems, including support of operations, documentation, upgrades, and system monitoring
* Provide training to end users on assigned in-house applications and third party software products
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
