Overview

Isle of Wedmore Golf Club offers excellent facilities and a friendly environment for golfers and visitors. We take pride in providing outstanding service to our members and guests. We are looking for a proactive and organized Golf Club Admin Assistant to support the smooth running of our operations.

Pay Dependant on Experience, to be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities:

* As part of the management team, you will deliver administrative support to the club's management contributing to the effective running of the club
* Handle member enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Maintain accurate records of memberships, bookings, and payments
* Assist with event planning, including competitions and social functions
* Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
* Manage correspondence and update club communications (newsletters, social media, website)
* Order and manage office supplies and assist with day-to-day operations
* Carry out regular fire alarm and safety checks, and act as a trained first aider for staff and visitors

Requirements:

* Knowledge of golf or experience in a club environment is essential.
* Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably in a hospitality or sports environment)
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management (experience using intelligent golf/ preferred.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary.
* Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* First Aid at Work (Level 2 or above) or willingness to complete qualification.
