Grade E, £15,777 - £16,854 plus SSA £905 - £921 (depending on length of service)
Part Time - 25 hours per week term time only pm - 6.00pm daily)

The Head Teacher and Governors of Washingwell Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across school supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The post will commence as soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:
* has an outstanding record of working well within a team demonstrating a positive attitude, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment
* has experience of working with children in a primary school setting, specifically with children with SEND
* holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant / NVQ Qualification or equivalent as a minimum essential requirement.
The successful candidate would be expected to:
* provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within school and in our after school provision
* establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
* promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
* contribute to the planning, preparation and resources of learning activities
* have a full working knowledge and experience of the Early Years and National Curriculum
* display excellent communication skills

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
