Working Hours
The Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours per week. As this post is part‑time the salary will be pro‑rata. The hours for this post are Saturday & Sunday 6am – 13:53pm.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing a Security Service that enables the effective and efficient delivery of services to the Division, and provides a safe working environment for staff, patients and visitors. Detect and prevent crime within the boundaries of the hospital.
Qualifications
* Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025 this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case. If the post is a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
