As the Team Lead, you'll lead an established team of highly skilled Claims Handlers, guiding them to success while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Reporting to the Head of Department, your key responsibilities include:
* Supervise and guide Claims Handlers to ensure adherence to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
* Approve claims settlements within allocated financial boundaries.
* Ensure team proficiency in policy wordings, internal guides and processes.
* Collaborate with clients to meet specific needs, attending review meetings as needed.
* Maintain accurate reserves and achieve a 1:1 closing ratio through diary procedure adherence.
* Manage Solicitors in litigated cases to ensure compliance with standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for any escalations and resolve complaints promptly.
* Ensure timely completion of annual appraisals, monthly 1-2-1 sessions and agreed development plans.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Claims Team Leader in a regulated environment, whilst it would be ideal if your experience is within Casualty Claims, we can consider those from any commercial claims background.
