We’re looking for an experienced, driven, and customer-focused External Account Manager to join our Aggregates team. If you’re passionate about building strong relationships, delivering results, and shaping commercial success, this is the role for you.
About the Role
As an External Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key customer accounts across the region. You’ll ensure price, volume, and profitability targets are met while working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Implementing the Account Portfolio strategy to drive performance
2. Delivering financial targets as set by the Business Unit and Regional Management
3. Achieving monthly and annual Customer Account targets
4. Managing and increasing Value Added Product volume in line with business objectives
5. Supporting Major Project Managers with major bids and tender processes
6. Building strong, lasting relationships with customers and identifying new opportunities
7. Ensuring customer satisfaction measures are consistently exceeded
8. Creating and maintaining high-quality account plans that outline clear customer objectives
9. Supporting senior management in improving OTIF (On Time In Full) performance
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:
10. A strong track record of managing customer accounts and adding commercial value
11. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
12. Strong commercial acumen and experience using forecasting or commercial tools
13. A deep understanding of regional markets and competitive landscapes
14. Ability to work collaboratively across departments
15. High levels of drive, determination, and accountability
16. Ability to identify customer needs and build comprehensive solutions
17. Relevant experience in Aggregates
