Maintenance Engineer - Electrical
Salary £37,025 - £38,312 per annum
Wrexham
Days Only (Mon-Fri) - 37 hours per week
gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based near Wrexham
Electrical
* PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives.
* Using software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery.
* Maintenance on large AC and DC motors.
* Machine and Plant lock off procedures
Duties/Responsibilities
* Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.
* Developing and implementing modifications to improved reliability of plant and machinery.
* Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays.
* Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.
* Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* MS Office or equivalent.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or proven experience.
The Person
Time served with experience in all aspects of electrical maintenance engineering.
* Completed a recognised, certificated industrial apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance.
* Significant experience in an industrial maintenance field.
* Self-starter, proactive, prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision.
* Work well under pressure.
* Practical approach.
* Team player.
* Flexible attitude to overtime and shift cover
