This role involves the precision manufacture of medical instruments in a calm, clean, and professional working environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently from engineering drawings are essential. Our client uses Fanuc controls on their CNC Mills, and the machines are Doosan 750 and a Doosan 6700 vertical milling machines. Key Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC milling machines • Manufacture precision components for medical instruments • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards • Use OneCNC software for programming and machining operations • Work with CAD/CAM systems to support production • Conduct in-process inspection and final quality control checks • Maintain a clean and organised workspace • Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards Skills & Experience Required: • Proven experience as a CNC Miller • Strong knowledge of machining principles and precision engineering • Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings • Experience using OneCNC (preferred) • Working knowledge of CAD and CAM software • Experience in manufacturing precision or medical components (advantageous) • Good understanding of quality control processes Personal Attributes: • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • High attention to detail and commitment to precision • Calm, focused, and methodical approach to work • Reliable and punctual • Team player with a professional attitude Our clients’ benefits: • Private medical insurance • Clean, calm, and professional working environment • Supportive team culture For further information on the role, or a general chat about other opportunities, please call Lauren Robbins on 01453 832468.
