Join our Nestlé team as a Labour Coordinator and Training Administrator and contribute to our LEAN Enterprise journey, ensuring quality production, efficiency and compliant working practices.
Responsibilities
* Labour Coordinator Duties
* Labour Planning: Utilize the local labour planning system (DLM) and GLOBE to ensure appropriate Nestlé skills are available for relevant shifts. Liaise with Shift Managers and Supply Planners to support the latest production plan.
* Data Management: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office to extract and analyse data. Record and maintain attendance spreadsheets, overtime data, and balance of hours.
* Reporting and Communication: Generate effective reports for factory managers, adapting to last-minute changes. Represent labour planning in DOR/WOR meetings and organise overtime with operators.
* Process Management: Challenge existing processes and apply a dynamic approach to problem-solving while ensuring fairness and consistency. Consider shift patterns, overtime allocation and training to deliver effective labour plans.
* Compliance: Maintain holiday and overtime/offline data within the system, ensuring adherence to Terms and Conditions and Working Time Directive guidelines.
* Training Administrator Duties
* SOP Management: Maintain site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through the POKA system, ensuring annual reviews and updates.
* Training Oversight: Maintain a sufficient pool of trained SOP authors to create, review, and update SOPs according to the annual plan.
* Reporting and Compliance: Provide monthly compliance reports on the SOP management system. Update and maintain the compliance matrix, collaborating with SHE, Quality and Engineering heads to meet legislative and company H&S requirements.
* Training Administration: Utilize the GROW Learning Management System to access training records and maintain all training documents, including evaluations and certificates.
* General Administration: Perform general administrative duties related to training and development.

* Confident with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge in a constructive manner.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and ability to use various IT systems; able to work to tight deadlines under pressure with attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills, tenacious and dynamic in finding solutions to meet production plans; able to cope with last-minute changes.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
* Other attributes include: ability to deal with people at all levels; initiative and innovative ideas to drive labour planning forward; confident use of GLOBE and MS Excel; understanding of manufacturing and supply planning inter-relationships; good planning and forecasting skills to maximise efficiency.
