Facilities Administrator – Enhanced DBS Required
Location: Southampton
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Interim – 1 month cover October - November
Salary: £13.68 per hour
We're seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Administrator to a join a School in Southampton, supporting the smooth running of the site and ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and contractor visits
* Monitor basic health & safety compliance and site standards
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Support procurement and stock control of supplies
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
* Respond to facilities-related queries and issues promptly
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS check (must be current or willing to obtain)
* Previous experience in a facilities or administrative role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience working in an education setting is highly desirable
