Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long-term placement.
As an HLTA, you will be expected to provide PPA cover across a couple of year groups, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with school staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a couple of year groups
* Provide PPA cover when required
* Support small groups and individual pupils
* Support classroom behaviour management
* Assist with tracking pupil progress
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Previous experience covering classes
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Or willing to apply)
