What we can offer you: 25 days of annual leave Access to our people's pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing: Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries, including goods receipt, dry ice, blood samples, and courier coordination Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including glass wash, drying machines, and autoclave sterilization machines Handle waste management responsibilities including collection of general, clinical, and recycling waste, coordinating with waste collection services Perform stock control duties including inventory management, stock takes, and internal lab deliveries Oversee laboratory gas cylinder management including ordering, monitoring, and manual changeover when needed Maintain site cleanliness and organization through regular housekeeping duties What we're looking for: An understanding of manual handling techniques Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to all levels of organisation in a clear, concise and respectful manner IT literate General awareness of good Health and Safety practises Experience in a similar role in a laboratory environment would be desirable IOSH or similar training would be desirable What's next?
