Overview
It’s a fantastic time to work for the Environment Agency as we step forward to tackle the climate emergency. Do you want to help make England a better place to live and work in?
This role is with the Flood & Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) directorate within the Improvements Portfolio. You will support the Portfolio Management Office and sub-portfolio project and programme work delivering over £150m of improvements in the next three years. You will help inform changes being delivered to enable outcomes that protect communities and businesses from the devastating impacts of flooding.
As a member of the Improvements Portfolio team, you will start up and inform new projects, help assure live projects, support project managers, and build relationships with the Portfolio Management Office. The role is suitable for someone with data analytics and/or project management experience seeking experience at programme/portfolio level.
This role is not eligible for Skilled visa sponsorship. Responding to incidents is a central part of the work; you will have an incident role (usually virtual) and must be available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and will include full training. Alternative working arrangements and full support are available to enable you in your incident role.
