Overview
Join TARGETED PROVISION LTD as a SEND Tutor/Teacher to support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills). You will plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for vulnerable young people referred by local authorities and schools. We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform lives in your community. Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight. Rate: £28 - £35 per hour. Contract.

Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* A Role with Purpose: Support pupils and students (KS1–KS5 as appropriate) with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for children referred by local authorities and schools
Qualifications and Requirements
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
