Base salary £60k with company car - Realistic 1st year OTE £90k

Role overview
You will be responsible for delivering the inside sales strategy across multiple verticals and propositions, reporting to the Sales Director. Your focus will be on driving growth within our spot and recurring revenue lines by creating opportunities and strategies using data sources. You will expand JLA’s footprint within existing accounts and seek new customers across various industry sectors, contributing to the overall success of the business measured by orders won.
Key tasks
* Deliver against the sales strategy to achieve financial budgets.
* Manage results across all verticals, identifying trends, successes, and challenges to inform data strategy initiatives.
* Work with team leaders to ensure effective lead management, conversion, and upselling/upskilling.
* Report on revenue and lead the sales team leaders.
* Use data to drive performance and manage team and individual performance.
* Coach, train, and develop team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Grow existing accounts and acquire new clients by exploring new verticals and opportunities.
* Represent JLA’s internal sales opportunities and ensure delivery of contracted revenue.
* Lead strategic projects to improve team efficiency and productivity.
* Provide commercial leadership and develop action plans for team effectiveness.
* Present quarterly and half-yearly performance updates.
* Oversee inbound and outbound traffic management across teams.
People Management
* Foster a culture of effective people management.
* Set objectives and targets for team leaders, providing feedback and support.
* Address employee relations issues per company policies.
* Coach and develop employees, ensuring high performance and knowledge of products and services.
* Identify training needs and coordinate with L&D and QA teams for development plans.
Service Delivery
* Ensure service delivery excellence, including timely sales and quality output.
* Promote a customer-centric culture and maximize lead opportunities.
* Collaborate with other departments such as Planning, Dispatch, Operations, and Customer Success.
Knowledge and Skills
* Knowledge of verticals within JLA for informed decision-making and opportunity identification.
* Strong communication skills to handle diverse teams and develop relationships.
* Understanding of product and service offerings for compliant sales.
* Ability to plan weekly activities aligned with business needs.
* Presentation skills for business cases and growth strategies.
Experience
* Proven success in delivering growth and managing sales teams.
* Experience in developing new verticals and customer demographics.
* Track record of leading teams to achieve performance goals.
* Leadership qualities including resilience, motivation, and relationship management.
