Our client, a respected educational institution based in Blackburn, East Lancashire, is currently looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant (SLCN) to join their skilled and dedicated team.
In this important role, you will collaborate closely with experienced educators to provide essential support to students with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Your main responsibility will be to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that helps students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
As a Learning Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will involve:
* Working closely with teachers to design and deliver personalised learning plans
* Offering individual and small group support to students with SLCN
* Helping to develop and modify learning resources tailored to each student’s needs
* Tracking and recording student progress to ensure timely and effective interventions
* Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
