The Role As a Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving significant sales growth and expanding our market presence across Scotland. This is a dynamic "hunting and farming" role where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 10-15 strategic partners, ensuring their continued growth and satisfaction. Y ou will also be empowered to acquire new partners and customers, leveraging your network and market insights to broaden our reach. You will become a trusted advisor, developing business plans for your accounts, coaching partners on our end-to-end solutions, and wor k ing closely with end customers. You'll spend significant time in the field across Scotland, building robust relationships, conducting site surveys, and leading partner training and events. K ey responsibilities include: Strategically managing 10-15 k ey customer accounts Proactively identifying and onboarding new partners and customers, leveraging your existing industry networ k. Coaching partners on new tools and solutions to promote Axis's end-to-end offerings. Supporting and leading partner training and events to enhance their capabilities and commitment to Axis solutions. Maintaining a robust sales pipeline and ensuring CRM compliance for your accounts. Being on the road for customer meetings, focusing on expanding existing business and identifying new opportunities. Your Future Team You will be joining a supportive and ambitious team focused on the Scottish mar k et. Your broader team will include Sales Engineers (covering Northern England and Scotland) and the wider U K sales and mar k eting organization, including regular interactions with our U K office in Luton. Who We're Loo k ing For We see k a self-driven, strategic, and customer-oriented professional with a proven trac k record in B2B account management and new business development. You thrive on building strong relationships and possess the tenacity to navigate a budget-driven mar k et while demonstrating the value of total cost of ownership. You are a "doer" who can identify opportunities and translate them into tangible revenue. Qualifications: Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, with a clear focus on both managing and growing key customers and actively acquiring new business. Experience wor k ing with multi-sta k eholder organizations. Strong strategic thin k ing with the ability to build and execute long-term territory and account plans. Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce. Fluent in English (written and spo k en). Excellent interpersonal and communication s k ills, with a collaborative approach. Proactive with strong prioritization and efficiency s k ills. A full U K driving license and willingness to travel frequently across Scotland (ideal location: Central Scotland) and occasionally to our Luton office (quarterly for sales meetings). A bac k ground in IT or the security industry is beneficial, but the right person with strong B2B experience from other sectors will be considered.
