Job Description
As a Service Charge Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis for our developments, collaborating with key stakeholders. You will also manage a team of service charge accountants to ensure business objectives are met, adhering to legislative guidance.
Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and Performance: Lead and support team members to achieve high performance, conduct performance reviews, coach for skill development, and address issues in line with HR policies.
2. Data Management and Reporting: Utilize reporting tools to manage workloads, ensure data accuracy, and generate regular reports on team progress and challenges.
3. Goal Monitoring and Decision-Making: Monitor KPIs to ensure team goals are met, analyze data to balance workloads, and make informed decisions aligned with organizational objectives.
4. Communication and Issue Resolution: Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly, including organizing and leading calls to address unresolved queries.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in Service Charge Accounts management, preferably in a managerial role.
2. Strong knowledge and high attention to detail in financial reporting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with property management software is a plus.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
6. Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Additional Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with three days WFH per week, and free onsite parking.
