About UsAT CCST Ltd., we specialise in producing high-performance carbon-ceramic brake technology.We design, manufacture, and sell lightweight, high-performance brake discs primarily for the automotive industry; especially premium, performance, and supercar manufacturers.About the Role Were looking for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join our high-performing procurement team, supporting the manufacture of cutting-edge carbon ceramic disc brake systems.This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced engineering, managing a global supply base and playing a key role in ensuring the quality, cost, and availability of critical components. Youll work closely with suppliers across China and Germany, so experience in international sourcing is essential.What Youll Be Doing Managing the end-to-end procurement of components, materials, and servicesBuilding and maintaining strong supplier relationships, particularly across China and GermanyLeading RFQs, analysing quotes, and negotiating competitive commercial termsMonitoring supplier performance across quality, cost, and deliveryWorking closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to support new and existing productsIdentifying cost-saving and process improvement opportunities across the supply chainManaging orders, tracking deliveries, and mitigating supply risksWhat Were Looking For Proven experience in a Buyer / Procurement role within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong experience sourcing from international markets, ideally China and GermanyConfident negotiator with strong commercial awarenessAbility to work with technical teams and understand engineering requirementsExperience using ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirable (but not essential) Experience in automotive, aerospace, or advanced materials manufacturingKnowledge of carbon ceramic or high-performance componentsCIPS qualification (or working towards)Why Join Us?
