We are looking for either a Nurse Associate or a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to support the Practice Nurse Team at Strayside Health (in Mowbray Square Medical Centre).
We are looking for a candidate to join us for one or two days per week (hours can be flexible) to carry out Practice Nurse duties including:
* Administration of injectable medications
* Wound care (including leg ulcer management)
* Immunisations (children and adults)
* Ear syringing
* ECGs/Dopplers
* Ring pessary changes
* Management of long term conditions (diabetes, hypertension etc)

Hours can be flexible.

Clinical Knowledge and Skills
* Complex wound care
* Removal of sutures and staples
* ECGs
* Venepuncture
* Requesting and processing pathology tests, advising patients accordingly
* Understand the requirement for PGDs
* Ability to record accurate and concise clinical notes
* Ability to work within the scope of own practice
* Immunisations
* Chronic disease management
